CIA Director Leon Panetta To Replace David Gates

According to a major decision taken by US President Barak Obama, Leon Panetta, the US CIA Director will take over as Defense Secretary of the United States this summer replacing David Gates; news reports said quoting US officials.

The new CIA chief will be General David Petraeus, presently holding the US command in Afghanistan.  Lt-Gen. John Allen, Deputy Commander of US Central Command, will take over the command from Gen Petraeus in Kabul. Lt-Gen. John Allen will receive a fourth star for his next position in Kabul, new repots said.
