Amitabh Targeted Again: Shooting Of Buddha Stopped

MUMBAI: April 26, 2011,

The shooting Amitabh Bachan’s film Buddha was held up by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena on Tuesday on allegation that foreigners having no work permit are participating in the film.

A song sequence of film Buddha was being shot at the United Mills at Mumbai when the cine wing of the MNS raided and stalled the shooting.

A spokesman the cine wing said, “We found out that most of the foreigners shooting on the film set were without work permits. We filed a complaint with Shivaji Park police station and requested them to raid the set. All the papers of the 17 foreigners on the set have been confiscated and taken by the police which is being verified.”

News report said that MNS has targeted Amitabh Bachchan, the great Indian film icon. once again.
